Attending Planner – Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Coach JPMD (“we,” “us”) publishes Attending Planner, a personal productivity and coaching tool for physicians. This policy explains what the app does with your information.

2. What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter is stored locally on your device using your phone’s private app storage. By default it is never transmitted to us or anyone else.

3. What we do not do

• No tracking or analytics SDKs. The app does not embed advertising or analytics trackers.
• No advertising. There are no ads and no ad identifiers.
• No selling or sharing. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, and we never will.
• No photo library scanning. The photo picker returns only the single image you choose.
• No location tracking. The app does not request or use your location.

4. Cloud backup (optional)

The app can back up your data so a lost or replaced phone doesn’t cost you your history. This is entirely optional:

• Nothing is transmitted unless you create an account and choose to back up.
• Your backup is stored under your account, and access is restricted so that only your account can read it.
• Your email and password are used solely for authentication — never for marketing, unless you separately opt in.
• You can sign out or request deletion at any time (see §8).

You can also export a backup file and store it yourself in Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive, or anywhere else. That path involves no servers of ours at all.

5. Notifications

Reminders — goal due dates, wheel check-ins, the daily gratitude nudge, and your birthday wish — are scheduled locally by your own device. There is no push server, so reminder content never travels over the internet. You can turn any of them off in the app, or all of them in your phone’s settings.

6. Children

The app is intended for practicing physicians and physicians in training. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

7. Security

Local data is protected by your device’s own app sandbox and, where you’ve enabled it, device encryption and a passcode/biometric lock. If you use cloud backup, data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored with access restricted to your account. No system is perfectly secure — please keep your device locked and your password unique.

8. Your choices and rights

• Access / export: Export everything as a JSON file any time from Backup & Sync.
• Correct: Edit any field in the app.
• Delete: Deleting the app erases all local data permanently. If you used cloud backup, email us to delete the stored copy.
• Opt out: Cloud backup is off unless you turn it on. Every notification is individually toggleable.

Depending on where you live (for example the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. We honor these requests regardless of where you live. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

9. Not professional advice

The planner, loan payoff, and wealth-building tools produce educational estimates based only on figures you enter, using assumptions such as fixed rates and consistent payments. Actual results vary, and investments can lose value. Nothing in the app is financial, investment, tax, legal, or medical advice. Physicians pursuing loan forgiveness (for example PSLF) may have a materially different optimal strategy. Consult a licensed professional about your situation.

10. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the date above and surface a notice in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
